Fluid Movements (FM) aims to define professionalism in multi sport coaching. This is evident by our fulltime coaching staff, premium training facilities and best practise balanced programs. The program based coaching structure utilises fully experienced specialty coaches who have vast athletic experience, which helps to deliver superior advice to clients. FM provides a unique balance between the 3disciplines of the sport, and fosters a balance between the athletes sporting pursuits and life outside of the training program.
Fluid Movements network of program partners enhances the delivery of our programs. We have sourced a network of specialty swim, cycle, and run services, a rehabilitation program through Lifecare Centres, and nutritional and strength and conditioning services through our home training base at South Yarra Sports.
We either provide these services at free or discount rates to full Fluid Movement members.
Coupled with our core training programs, that accommodate all levels and triathlon disciplines, our Train to Race ' philosophy targets the specific skills of triathlon, i.e. Running off the bike, bike setup, time trialing, transition, open water swim craft, and is an integral part of the skills taught at FM.
The new Fluid Movements online website triathlon-training.net and training portal will be your one stop shop for squad training information, articles and advice provided by our program partners via the site, athlete training database log utilising latest Polar technology, and general squad information for Fluid Movements members.
FM aims to deliver all this in a friendly, social environment, through our affiliation with Melbourne Triathlon Club (MTC) and through our own regular social get-togethers. This ensures a friendly relaxed environment with many opportunities to mingle with other like-minded athletes at coffee after training or at social functions.
