at home with Coach Troy as the trike went on the truck yesterday to Perth after servicing....think I need a sports massage, although I've had physio on the leg twice this week.

Kicking drills - blergh! But good to be on the road (in the lane??) to getting 'kickfit' again
4x200m paddles +/- pull buoy - concentrating on 'grabbing' the water vs 'patting'. Right arm tends to do it more than left, and happens more when fatigued. Thought: chicken or egg? Is it my funky arm messing up my body position, or is it my body position causing a funky arm??

Technical trail run. Programmed as easy run to time so focussed on technique. Got dark quickly so had to move slowly through technical sections. Remember light next time.

Good core stability, boat handled well into tight corners and in pack paddling. Still nervous in side swell. Contact lenses went well even in splashy pack paddling.

1 lap WU, 8x80 Dynamic Strides, 6k Threshold, 0.5 lap WD.
1st lap 14:15 (3.9k @ 3:38 min/k)
6 k total 21:50 (5.8k @ 3:45 min/k)

Felt a bit flat about 2k in, got into a good rythym through back section, wound back RPE at 3.75k (HR too high) then ground out last 2k.

45 mins of moderate, aerobic running, no probs with foot (sports doc has given me the all clear, yay.com!) Woofed down 125 grams of Tasmanian Heritage Blue Brie when I got home. Is that bad?
